Mix chicken chunks with Greek yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, paprika, turmeric, and half the garam masala. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Sear marinated chicken until golden on all sides, then remove and set aside.

In the same pan, toast cumin seeds for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add diced onions and sauté until golden brown, about 8 minutes.

Stir in tomato puree and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
